Work in Ukraine: What vacancies are most often offered during the war

According to the head of the State Employment Center Yulia Zhovtyak, the largest number of vacancies is offered in Kyiv and the region, as well as in Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk and Lviv regions. The labor market in Ukraine recovered from the crisis, which was provoked by a full -scale war with Russia. Proposals for work have increased significantly, moreover - there is a shortage of personnel.

This was stated on March 20 in an interview with Interfax-Ukraine Director of the State Employment Center Yulia Zhovtyak. According to her, about 50,000 vacancies are relevant daily. This is almost twice as much as in 2023. A similar tendency on a single vacancy portal, which combines offers of different resources, including: robota. ua, work. ua, jooble. org and others. "If at the end of last year there were 200,000 offers of work, today it is almost 230,000 vacancies," she said.

Jaundice noted that some specialists may not worry about job search, as they have enough vacancies. First of all, about: employers are also actively looking for builders, but there are some problems: many men have left or have been mobilized, so demand exceeds supply currently. There is already a shortage of personnel - and in the near future the problem will intensify. "And here the question is that now we do not have the number of men on the construction industry.

That is, so far there is a really lack of personnel in this area," - said Yulia Zhovtyak. At the same time, the able -bodied part of the population is most actively interested in the opportunity to work in the field of trade. People are also interested in public administration, agriculture and processing industry. Jaundice also said that there are now two major problems on the market-a shortage of skilled personnel and professional qualification imbalance.

In the regions, the situation is worse than in Kiev. The reason is the migration of the population, as well as the conscription to the ranks of the Armed Forces. The largest number of vacancies now appears in Kyiv and the region, as well as in Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk and Lviv regions. With regard to salaries,, for example, the average amount of vacancies offered on a single portal is 19 thousand hryvnias.
