Units of unmanned systems, assault and amphibious assault groups, forces of the SSO, SBU, National Guard, National Police and other elements of the defense system are involved in the sweep. For their part, the Special Operations Forces report that Pokrovsk remains one of the most intensive areas of the front.
According to their information, Russian troops are firing from a wide range of weapons, including small arms, artillery and drones — constant explosions and UAV attacks are recorded in the city. It is noted that the SSO fulfills its tasks in full. The goal is to weaken Russian units and inflict maximum losses on them. At the same time, a video published by blogger Denys Kazansky shows a column of the Russian army entering the city almost unimpeded.
The footage shows that the dense fog complicates the work of Ukrainian drone operators and limits the ability to destroy enemy equipment before entering the positions. It will be recalled that Western observers reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine were forced to withdraw from Pokrovsk, as the Russian troops conducted a complex offensive operation, and the Ukrainian defenders did not have enough resources for resistance.
