Russia's war against Ukraine will end because the UN Charter - President's speech during a high UN Security Council meeting

Your highly respect! One day in this hall, they will certainly say that Russia's war against Ukraine is completed: not frozen, not suspended, not forgotten-truly completed. And this will not happen because someone is tired of war. Not because someone has shot something from Putin. Russia's war against Ukraine will end because the UN Statute will work. It should work. Our Ukrainian right to self -defense has to take the mountain. Our cooperation with the peoples of the world who value life as we do.

Our territorial integrity. Our sovereignty, independence of our country. We protect that every nation, of course, would like to protect for ourselves. And the fact that the UN Statute guarantees for everyone. And it is Russia that always should lie to justify its war. Not us. Russia cannot refer to the UN Statute to explain what it does against us, against Ukraine, the people of Ukraine. Actually, in her perverted way, in her distorted world she still refers to the charter, but it is just madness.

Russia kept silence because it could not explain why recently the Russian rocket hit a vessel with a grain that was heading to the Egyptian port through the Black Sea. Russia is either silent or lies about why its drones and rockets are found in the airspace of Poland, Moldova, Romania. Every day, Ukrainians are injured and die. Daily. Today, again Russian bombs were hit by dwellings. Even the usual bakery became the target.

What is so threatening for Russia in the production of bread? Putin has no answer. And Russia never has an honest answer to the question of why its army kills children in Ukraine, "wins" schools and hospitals, beating not for justice, but for the de -friend of the neighboring nation.

Putin has nothing to say when asking him why he tries to draw Belarus into the war, why his propagandists threaten the peoples of the Caucasus or Central Asia, or why Russia invests most not in humanity development, but in hatred. In Russia, there is no legal reason-absolutely-in order to do Iran and North Korea de facto accomplices in his criminal war in Europe, when their weapons kill us, kills Ukrainians and helps Putin to steal our land in our people.

We know that some in the world wants to talk to Putin. We know that. Meet, talk, communicate. But what exactly can they hear from him? What is it upset because we exercise our right to protect our people? Or what does he want to continue the war and terror only to make no one think he was right? This is also madness. From the first second of this war, Russia has been doing that in no way can be justified in accordance with the UN Charter.

Every destroyed Ukrainian city, every burned village - and hundreds and hundreds of them - is proof that Russia is committing an international crime. And that is why this war cannot simply "subside. " That is why this war cannot be reassured. Actions needed. And I am grateful to all nations that really help in the way of saving our people's lives. Putin violated so many international rules and regulations that he would not stop alone. Russia can only be forced to peace.

And this is what we need to force Russia to peace as the only aggressor in this war, the only violator of the UN Charter. Now, as the third winter of this war is approaching, Russia is trying to destroy our energy again, and this fall they are acting even more cynically. They are preparing to attack our nuclear power plants, three of them, we have this information and have evidence of this. If Russia is ready to go so far, it means that none of what you value does not matter to Moscow.

This type of Russian cynicism will continue to strike if it is given at least some place in the world. The UN Statute leaves no room for this. And that is why the formula of peace also leaves no room. In 2022, in the midst of the war, when proposing the formula of peace, I proposed to adhere to the UN Charter - to make it effective all that this organization was created for.

Each world formula is based on the principles, purposes and norms of the UN Charter - on the rights that it guarantees to countries, and at the resolutions of the General Assembly, which have already been supported by most countries. And there are no different versions of the UN Charter for different parts of the world. There are no regional quasi -stations. There is no separate UN Statute for Brix or for the Big Seven.

There is no separate Russian-Iranian Charter of the United Nations or a separate Chinese-Brazilian Statute of the UN. There is only one UN Statute that unites everyone - it should unite everyone. The path to just peace is clear steps that everyone understands, and this is reflected in the formula of peace. This is the implementation of the UN Charter. And we all know what to do if we honestly evaluate the situation and really want to stop the war of Russia. And most importantly - to act.

Together, of course. Of course, in unity. Without creating new and unnecessary divisions of the world into blocks or regional groups. Unity always works in favor of peace. We need to prepare a second world of peace to put an end to the war. All together. And I invite you all - all the fundamental nations - to join us in this process. Anyone who really respects the UN Statute. We invite China. We invite Brazil. I have already invited India.

We work with African countries, with all Latin America, the Middle East, Central Asia, Europe, the Pacific, North America. All are equally important for peace. All. No exception. Just as the UN Statute should work without exception. It is a process that will lead us to peace. To a just peace. Real peace. Peace that will be long -lasting. We all already know how to achieve it. We have a formula of peace. We have a UN Statute. And we have all the forces needed to bring this to life.
