"This is a fact": the Third World War is already ongoing - Budanov

To spread: According to the head of the GUR, most of the strongest countries of the planet were involved in the Russian Federation against Ukraine. He also called the Kremlin humiliating for troops from the DPRK. The Third World War is actually continuing, because most of the developed countries are involved in the Russian-Ukrainian confrontation, according to the head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Kirill Budanov.

So he answered the journalist's questions in an interview with Ukrinform. The journalist asked the leader of intelligence whether, in his opinion, it is possible to name the events around the invasion of the Russian Federation in Ukraine by the Third World War, or it was only a prelude to it. "This is the philosophical question, how to look at it. For me - yes, because the absolute majority of the strongest and most developed countries of the world is involved. It is just a fact," Budanov replied.

He also noted that instead of supplies from Iran, Russia is more relied more on the involvement of North Korean weapons. According to Budanov, the use of troops from North Korea is humiliating for the Russian Federation, which positions itself as a world leader and claims that her army is the second most powerful in the world. "It is humiliating, but the realities are such that they had to go to it," said GUR chairman.

We will remind, on February 25 Kirill Budanov listed the reasons why the forces of Ukraine do not destroy the plants for the production of "Shahmed" in the Russian Federation. The head of the GUR noted that these enterprises are protected by means of radio electronic struggle and air defense, and Ukrainian missiles are not currently able to overcome such distances. On February 24, Budanov explained why he believes that the war with the Russian Federation could end in 2025.
