Ukraine has codified Gyurza-O2 armored vehic

To spread: the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has officially codified a new Gyurza-O2 armored car of Ukrainian development. Codification means that the armor can now be adopted and supplied to the defense forces. This was reported by UkrarMotech, which is the developer of the machine. The company said that from the idea to making the first samples and passing all the necessary tests it took only six months.

The armored vehicle has received a positive assessment of both the certification body of the Ministry of Defense and from the military who participated in combat tests. "Six months from the idea to the first made samples that have passed the whole complex of tests and tests, having received an appropriate assessment of not only the specialists of the certification body of the Ministry of Defense, but also the combat units," the developers said.

The most important characteristic of such equipment is armor protection. According to the manufacturer, Gyurza-O2 provides circular crew, landing and equipment at Level 2/3 level by NATO AEP-55 Stanag 4569, which corresponds to the resistance to shooting of 7. 62 × 39 mm with ordinary and armor. The armored vehicle housing has a V-shaped bottom, designed for the blasting of an anti-tank fugas mine with a charge of up to 8 kg (Stanag 4569 Level 3a/B level).

The energy of the explosion is dissipated as a result of the shape of the bottom, and for the crew and landing there are chairs with depreciation from explosive loads. Additionally, an anti -lacquer substrate is installed inside, which protects against secondary fragments. The tactical and technical characteristics of Gyurza-O2 Recall that in February the Ukrainian armored car was presented at the International IDEX 2025 weapons exhibition in Abu Dhabi.
