Support of Ukraine and Strengthening Air Defense: President met with US Congress delegation

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with the two -party delegation of the House of Congress of the United States of America in Donald Norcrossa, Celeste Meloy and James Panthe. The Head of State thanked the American delegation for visiting Kyiv and Odessa. He noted the support from the United States to counteract Russian aggression, in particular in the context of supplying to Ukraine the F-16 aircraft. “I thank the American society for its important assistance from the very beginning of this war.

We are grateful to President Joseph Biden, both the wards of Congress and both parties. And we appreciate the Congress's decision to support our army, ”said Volodymyr Zelenskyy. During the meeting, they discussed in detail the increased defense capability of our country and the priority needs of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

The President emphasized the importance of obtaining additional air defense tools for effective protection of civilian population and critical infrastructure, as well as the need for our country to expand training missions for Ukrainian pilots and technicians in the United States. Particular attention was paid to the promotion of Ukraine on the path of Euro -Atlantic integration.
