To do this, it is necessary to create a global wireless energy matrix capable of instantly transmitting energy throughout the planet, using low -orbiting satellites. People will be able to access the renewable energy in 24/7 in any corner of the Earth. The technology should be scale to cope with orbital distances.
According to Kushnir, this will transmit energy with satellites more efficient than through urban power grids. He believes that in 5 years it is possible to achieve 60-70 percent efficiency of "energy matrix". And by 2050, its effectiveness will be "about 80-85%". To start the "energy matrix", you will need an entire infrastructure unfolded in space.
The satellite antenna lattices will accept energy rays from the ground, bend and re -focus them to direct to another point, or back to the ground directly to the receiving device, or through another satellite. The company proposes to place satellites in low orbits at an altitude of about 100 km. Devices, as expected, will have a radius of 30-40 m.
