Ukraine has received money from frozen assets of the Russian Federation: which will be spent over UAH 39 billion

To spread: Prime Minister Denis Shmigal expressed his hope that the assets themselves will be confiscated in favor of Ukraine. He also signed an agreement on more than UAH 88 billion to restore. The United Kingdom has transferred to Ukraine the first funds derived from income from frozen Russian assets. This was stated on March 7 by Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmigal. Ukraine received 752 million pounds (at the current rate it is 39. 1 billion hryvnias), within the G7 ERA initiative.

Money promises to strengthen the defense. "I thank the UK government and our G7 partners for the mechanism that forces Russian money to work for Ukraine," the Prime Minister said. According to him, Kyiv expects that the assets of the Russian Federation will be confiscated and transferred in favor of the state. Schmigal also reported that on March 6, an agreement was signed with the European Investment Bank. It is 2 billion euros (UAH 88. 6 billion) to restore Ukraine.

"These financial resources will be directed to the energy, transport, export infrastructure, as well as the restoration of schools, hospitals, water supply and heat supply," the prime minister said.
