"Tomahawks" for Ukraine: Trump revealed his intentions and said he would be the "last straw" for Putin (audio)

Share: US President Donald Trump revealed whether he intends to transfer long-range American Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine, explaining that there are currently no such decisions. He also explained what the "last straw" will be for the head of the Kremlin, Vladimir Putin. Trump is currently not considering the issue of providing Tomahawks for the Armed Forces, but he does not rule out that the situation may change.

This became known from the statements of the President of the USA, voiced in the broadcast of the White House. When asked by a journalist whether the administration of the US president would provide Ukraine with long-range Tomahawk missiles, Trump replied that it was "possible", but emphasized that not now. "No. No, not really. It could happen, it could change, but at this point, no," Donald Trump replied.

This question is likely to have arisen again due to the recent news on CNN that the Pentagon supported the provision of Tomahawks to Ukraine. However, as the newspaper emphasized, the final decision on the transfer of new weapons to the Armed Forces must be made by President Trump, who questioned this issue during a meeting with Volodymyr Zelenskyi in October. Donald Trump was also asked about frozen Russian assets abroad and the possibility of using them for negotiations with the Kremlin.

"I do not do this. But it seems that Europe and Russia are negotiating. I do not take part in these negotiations," the US president replied. The journalist also asked the US president what would be the "last straw" that would indicate that the head of the Kremlin, Vladimir Putin, is not going to stop the war in Ukraine. To this Trump replied that it "will not be". "There won't be the last straw. Sometimes you have to let them fight. And for Putin, it's a tough war.
