The European Parliament recognized Lukashenko involved in the war against Ukraine at the level of Putin

Deputies of the European Parliament called on the International Criminal Court to issue a warrant for the arrest of Alexander Lukashenko and reminded that he granted permission to the Russian troops to attack our country from the territory of Belarus. Oleksandr Lukashenko, the head of the political regime of Belarus, should be responsible for aggression against Ukraine at the level with the head of Russia Vladimir Putin.

The resolution was approved on September 13 in Strasbourg during the plenary session of the European Parliament. The document refers to his responsibility for the repression and oppression of the people of this country. In addition, he recognized the Belarusian politician by the accomplice of Russian military crimes in Ukraine. The resolution recalls the full list and list of crimes of Belarusian regime.

It lists information on the ignition of hatred and participation in Russian anti -Ukrainian propaganda. The deputies did not forget that it was Lukashenko's regime that granted permission to attack Ukraine from the territory of Belarus and direct supply of ammunition and military equipment to the Russian troops. "Lukashenko's illegitimate regime actively supports and became a complete accomplice to the unjustified aggressive war of Russia and military crimes against Ukraine," the document reads.

Deputies of the European Parliament consider it necessary to apply sanctions against Russia against Belarus. The European Parliament called on the International Criminal Court to issue an international warrant for its arrest. According to deputies, the EU Council should expand the list of people from Belarus, which are subject to the sanctions of the European Union.

At the same time, European parliamentarians stressed that the vast majority of Belarusians do not support the involvement of their country in aggression against Ukraine. They recalled that some Belarusian citizens decided to fight against the Russian aggressor in the Ukrainian army, in particular, in the Kastusa Kalinowski Regiment. We will remind, in July the deputies of the European Parliament published new requirements for the International Criminal Court.
