The work of the repair team of the Armed Forces was told in the armyinform. The Ukrainian military shared some details about how their process of repairing damaged equipment was organized. According to them, in such conditions it is possible to perform small repair of equipment after contractions with the enemy, but sometimes they can even replace the engine.
"In addition to problems with engines, we are arriving with equipment with faults of the running part, brake and fuel systems, as this self-propelled artillery installation,"-said the battalion commander of the 3rd Iron Brigade Major Dmitry Telizhenko. According to him, spare parts of Russian equipment, which are stored separately, are also suitable for repair. The major notes that even if the equipment is burned, it remains parts that can be applied during repair.
"Here's this SAU needed to find a gearbox. It was at that landfill that they found the necessary unit. There they also replenished the engine on the tank," the officer says. Telizhenko added that there are several Brem-1 to evacuate enemy cars from the battlefield. One of these machines was pulled from the river by the Russian BMP, which the invaders were thrown in the Kharkiv direction last fall.
