As a result of the rocket strike on the enemy's headquarters, about ten invaders were killed, a few dozen more - they were injured - in the media. The Armed Forces of Ukraine (Armed Forces) and the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) struck the secret base of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation (Armed Forces of the Russian Federation) in the temporarily occupied Melitopol of Zaporizhzhya region. This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to its own sources in the SBU.

They noted that the SBU special forces found that the enemy had organized his headquarters at the Melitopol Motor Plant. This information was shared by the SBU with the military who hit the target. As a result of the missile strike, the commander of the 58th Army of the Russian Federation, which is currently involved in the battles in the Zaporozhye direction and the chief of staff, was received. Several dozen Russian officers were also injured. According to the SBU, about ten of them died.

A series of explosions was heard in the morning of September 19 in the temporarily occupied Melitopol of Zaporizhzhya region. The local Telegram-channel reported about "arrival" in the southwestern part of the city, in particular in the area of ​​the Melitopol Motor Plant (MEMZ) and the Melitopol plant "Avtocollite". Also, the locals watched smoke from the aerodrome. Immediately after the explosions in Melitopol, an active movement of hostile heavy equipment began.

Melitopol Mayor Ivan Fedorov stated that more than five explosions were heard in the city, while Russian air defense, according to him, did not have time to work. According to the Occupation Administration of Melitopol, the Russian air defense has shot down a rocket, from the fall of the fragments of which there was a burning in a non -working shop.
