Zelensky wants to meet Putin: The Kremlin has put forward his demands

To spread: President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stated that only a personal meeting with Vladimir Putin can stop the war. The Kremlin has confirmed that they did not reject this opportunity, but emphasized: negotiations at the level of leaders are possible only after agreeing the terms of the peace agreement. The President of Ukraine made such a statement while communicating with journalists on July 24.

He noted that Ukraine is ready to meet with the Russian leader by the end of August, and now discuss the possible format of such negotiations. "They will not work differently with them. It is necessary to ademis such a meeting-meetings at the level of leaders. We are raising this issue in public. According to him, the reaction of the Russian side to this initiative has changed after the last events in Russia.

"In addition to negotiation processes, dialogue, diplomacy, many things have happened in their territory. You saw it," the President of Ukraine said. According to Reuters, the Kremlin stated that Putin's meeting with Zelensky is only possible after reaching specific arrangements. Presidential Presidential President Dmitry Peskov stressed that a personal meeting between Vladimir Putin and Vladimir Zelensky can only take place after experts agree on the conditions of a potential peace agreement.

According to Peskov, the meeting of two leaders proposed by Ukraine by the end of August is unlikely to become a reality. The Kremlin representative said that negotiations between the presidents can only be the final step in the process of reaching the arrangement. "The summit can and should put the final point in the settlement and consolidate the modalities and arrangements developed by experts. It is impossible to do the opposite," Dmitry Peskov said to reporters.

He also suggested that such a complex process could be completed in a short time. "Is it possible to go through such a difficult process in 30 days? Well, it is obvious that it is unlikely," he added. Peskov again called the negotiation positions of both sides "diametrically opposite. " "It is unlikely that they can be collected together in one night. It will require a very difficult diplomatic work," said Russian Presidential President Dmitry Peskov.
