A new discipline was introduced into the training program of the Armed Forces: Details from the General Staff

By order of Sirsky, servicemen will now study humanitarian law. The military leadership hopes that after the course, the soldiers will act in accordance with international standards. Oleksandr Syrsky, commander -in -chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, made a decision to introduce a compulsory bloc for the study of international humanitarian law in the course of training for military personnel.

This is reported in the General Staff as the Armed Forces leadership pays special attention to compliance with the rules of international humanitarian law in all aspects of military activity, the said decision, as noted, is part of a comprehensive approach to ensuring a high level of legal culture and training of servicemen.

Studying the right of armed conflicts will help to increase the level of legal culture among servicemen and aims to ensure their readiness to act in accordance with international standards. We will remind, Ukrainian people's deputies in April talked about surface training of soldiers before sending to the front. At the end of May, the People's Deputy Valentin Nalyvaichenko reported that the training of mobilized conscripted Ukrainians in training centers and on landfills was squeezed over time.
