The compensation of the victims should cover all the damage from Russia's aggression since 2014 - Irina Wise

The Hague held the second meeting of the Intergovernmental Committee (INC) on the development of an international treaty on the establishment of a commission for consideration of applications for Ukraine. Representatives of more than 50 states, the European Union and the Council of Europe took part in this meeting. The head of the Ukrainian delegation, the deputy head of the Presidential Office Irina Wise joined the meeting online.

She stressed that justice for all victims of Russian aggression against Ukraine should be at the heart of the future commission. “This means coverage of all damage, losses and losses caused by Russia's aggression. Not from 2022, but from its real beginning in 2014. The illegal occupation of Crimea, the war in the Donbass and the decades of destruction should not be crossed out or forgotten. Selective justice is not justice, ”Irina Wise said.
