Local publications reported that the Air Force was reflected "massive attack" on the city-for the first time the sounds of explosions were heard at about 21:10 on the outskirts of Slavyansk-on Kuban. A total of 5 UAVs were shot. As a result of the attack, there was a fire of "dry reeds" and some homes. "All the fires were redeemed, the victims were not. There was an attempt to attack the refinery," the Telegram-channel was added.
The operative headquarters of the Krasnodar Territory noted that Slavyansk-on-Cuban was amazed. They added that the fragments fell in the field on the outskirts of the city, the flash of dry grass were extinguished quickly after falling. There are no injuries and destruction. The city houses the Slavic Oil Refinery (LLC "Slavyansk Eco"). The capacity of the plant is 5. 2 million tons per year, its share in the total volume of oil processing in the Southern Federal District is 9%.
This refinery was twice attacked by drones - in April and May 2024. After that, the company stopped work. For the third time, the plant was under the attack of UAV on February 8, 2025 - then they were knocked down. The Ministry of Defense of Russia noted that during the night, 50 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles were intercepted and destroyed by the next night: we recall that the drones attacked the Krasnodar region on February 10.
