The investigation found that the oligarch hid iron ore on the illegal ports of Ukraine, from where he then wanted to take it to Russia for the needs of the military-industrial military complex. Employees of the Security Service of Ukraine, together with the Bureau of Economic Security (Bab), found underground warehouses with 160 tons of Ukrainian iron ore, which previously belonged to the company of Russian oligarch Alisher Usmanov. This was reported at the SBU press center.

The special service estimated the property for a total amount of almost UAH 2 billion. The raw materials wanted to illegally ship the maritime courts to Russia, despite the sanctions that the NSDC, the US and the EU were imposed on Usmanov's property after a full -scale invasion of the Russian Federation.

According to investigators, minerals planned to transfer to the needs of the metallurgical industry and the military-industrial complex of Russia to meet the needs of occupation groups of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. According to the materials of the SBU, the property of the oligarch was arrested. "The issue of its transfer to the National Agency for the Detection, Investigation and Management of Assets received from corruption and other crimes (ARMA) is being resolved.

Comprehensive measures are continued to identify all hidden assets of Russian oligarchs involved in the preparation and conduct of full -scale aggression against Ukraine" - This is in the press release. On July 25, it was reported that the European Court refused the Russian oligarch Alisher Usmanov in a claim because of sanctions imposed against him. In addition to the abolition of sanctions, Alisher Usmanov demanded from the EU payment of $ 20,000.

The oligarchs also did not receive the satisfaction of this requirement. In March 2022, Russian oligarch Alisher Usmanov left Bavaria, where his villas were located, and went to Uzbekistan. Meanwhile, the EU "frozen" Usmanov's assets. Due to the sanctions under which Russia came through the war in Ukraine, Usmanov could no longer use his villas and yacht. EU representatives made this decision because of Usmanov's proximity to Russian President Vladimir Putin.
