There is no card blanche: Ukraine will ask for the Western weapons to be expanded

Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said he did not know why Western partners have introduced restrictions, but they were moving in the right direction. Ukraine does not have a card for the use of Western weapons for blows to the Russian Federation. Defense forces have rules for the use of weapons systems that need to be fulfilled. This was stated by the Foreign Minister of Ukraine Dmitry Kuleb during a joint press conference with the Foreign Minister of Estonia Margus Tsakhkna.

According to him, the decision to give Ukraine the opportunity to strike on military facilities in Russia with Western weapons is very correct and valuable. At the same time, as Kuleba noted, Ukrainian diplomats will work to ensure that the restrictions are less and less. "We will continue to work with allies to expand their weapons," he said. Kuleba stated that he did not know why Western partners imposed restrictions, but they were moving in the right direction.

It should be noted that Margus Thakhkna stated that from the first day the position of Estonia was that there should be no restrictions for Ukraine. Recall that on May 31, former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev threatened nuclear blow to NATO countries that give weapons to Ukraine. He noted that there was an "escalation" of war in Ukraine allegedly because of Western politicians.
