"No military expediency": The Navy estimated the likelihood of landing of the Russian landing

In the Black Sea, the number of Russian ship groups decreases, and there can be eight capable landing vessels. Dmitry Pletenchuk, a spokesman for the Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, commented on the level of threat of landing the Russian landing land, calling it unlikely at the moment. He reported this in a comment to "Public". Currently, the Black Sea Fleet uses its military-dessert ships to properly transport civilian cars through the Kerch Strait.

At the beginning of the fighting, the threat of landing was high. He said that in the Black Sea, the number of Russian ship groups decreases. Of the 13 units of ships, which are now in repair, Olengorsky Hornyak was damaged, and another in the port of Berdyansk in 2022 was flooded. In total, at least five of these vessels may be unsuitable. "Given that the enemy has already been rejected to the left bank of the Dnieper - such an operation now has no military expediency and meaning," he explained.

The spokesman added that the Ukrainian Navy has now been released by the water area with a total area of 25 thousand square kilometers. Ukrainian coastal artillery controls the sea for more than 100 nautical miles. It is about the territory deep from the coast. Accordingly, Russian invaders are not able to implement this operation.

The spokesman of the Ukrainian Volunteer Army South Serhiy Bratchuk stated that until the end of the fighting, the enemy would try to sell the landing of the landing, but there is no forces and means of landing. The Black Sea remains the front. "There are plans, there are no opportunities," Bratchuk explained. The Russian landing ship "Olengorsky Gornyak" was damaged as a result of the attack on August 4 by sea drones.

The transport ships of this project were armed with two double 57-mm AK-725 artillery installations and 4 starting installations of the SPR "Arrow-2". The invaders tried to repair the ship. According to the speaker of the Navy Dmitry Pletenchuk, the repair of such VDCs requires a long time and the availability of production facilities. At the same time, the state order for the fleet in the Russian Federation is percentage of 30-35 with a delay of 10 years.
