The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation advanced in the area of ​​the time ravine of Donetsk region and continued the offensive. This was reported by analysts of the Institute of War Study in the daily report on April 17.

"Russian troops advanced northeast of the time ravine and continued offensive operations in the area on April 17," the message reads. The Russian troops stated during April 16-17 that the invaders allegedly captured the whole Bogdanivka, advanced closer to Kalinovka and deep up to 500 meters in summer areas north of the new neighborhood in the Towel River. However, analysts did not find visual confirmation of these statements.

The spokesman of Khortytsia Nazar Voloshin noted that in the area of ​​the time ravine the enemy attacks small storm groups and uses all lives to rapidly switch and unload the infantry on the battlefield. Instead, the commander of the Ukrainian Battalion operating in the Time Yar district said the Russians lose 40 to 70% of the equipment during the assault.

According to him, about 50 FPV-oules are used daily for the task of strikes of 20-25 Russian purposes. According to the Armed Forces General Staff, in the Bakhmut direction, the Ukrainian military reflected 19 enemy attacks in the areas of Bigorivka of Luhansk region, recesses, Razdolivka, time ravine, new, Klyshchiyivka of Donetsk region during April 17. There, the enemy tried to improve his tactical position with aviation support.

The Russians also caused an air strike in the Verkhnyamyansky, Ivano-Darjivka, Sub-Dirny and Diliyivka and Donetsk region.
