In Ukraine, the number of opponents of compromises with Russia has decreased significantly - a survey

Most respondents have spoken that Ukraine should continue to fight against the Russian Federation as much as needed. In Ukraine, the number of citizens who believe that Ukraine can compromise with the Russian Federation has increased. This is evidenced by the results of a survey conducted by the Kiev International Institute of Sociology. "Most Ukrainians (58%) agree with the statement that" the Ukrainian authorities should not compromise in negotiations.

Ukraine will continue to fight as much as it will be needed "(disagree with such a statement - 30%). The proportion of those who agree with this statement have decreased from the last two years (in May 2022 the figure was 80%), still most Ukrainians are still against now They stand for the continuation of the struggle as much as it will be needed, " - said in KIMA.

It is noted that 65% agree with the statement that the results of possible negotiations with Russia should be taken to a referendum (not agreeing - 25%). Also, there is no unambiguous attitude towards the new mobilization law. 34% of the respondents agreed with the statement "I support the new mobilization law". 20% disagreed rather, and 32% did not agree at all (and another 14% did not answer the questions). The survey was conducted from May 26 to June 1 by telephone interviews.
