Under the leadership of the clergyman, who received an official suspicion of committing a crime on December 1, was a scandalous church service with the song "A Plivet over Russia". Employees of the Security Service of Ukraine reported the suspicion to the organizers of the Divine Service, during which in the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra sang a song about "the awakening of the mother-Russia". This was reported by the SBU press service.

"During the pre -trial investigation, the fact of one of the clergymen and his accomplices who participated in this service was established. All involved in scandalous worship are suspected of justifying, recognizing legitimate, denial of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine and glorification of its participants. On Thursday, December 1, the SBU staff in the territory of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra presented the suspicion of the priest who conducted an odious church service.

On November 12, the priest of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, Mikhail Omelyan, showed a video in his Facebook, which was shot, as in the Ukrainian temple, located on the territory of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, the Russian church song "Praise of the Blessed Virgin" sounds. It sang, in particular, the following lines: "The bell floats, floats over Russia, wakes up mother-Rus. " The SBU responded promptly to the incident.

The head of the department Vasyl Malyuk stated that those who are waiting for the "awakening of the mother-Russia" will harm the state's safety in the conditions of war and the SBU will not allow it. Then Bishop Pavel informed the governor of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra that the priest who led a scandalous prayer service had already been removed, and the reports were not true in the Lavra. Later it became known that the SBU opened a criminal case through a pro -Russian song in the walls of Lavra.

This article provides for a sentence of up to two years or arrest for up to six months, or imprisonment for up to three years. We will remind, a little earlier the SBU staff found in bed with the minor secretary of the Chernivtsi Diocese of the UOC -MP. In addition, the UOC (MP) found propaganda literature and documents of the Russian military who occupied the territory of Ukraine on the territory of the Chernivtsi-Bukovyna Diocese of the UOC (MP).
