The Armed Forces were reduced by the Armed Forces: the Cabinet of Ministers explained to whom the new rules are concerned

In Ukraine, since February 1, 2023, the approach to the accrual of additional cash payments for servicemen of the Defense Forces of Ukraine and employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the country is changing. About it reports the site of the Ukrainian government. According to the Cabinet of Ministers, the changes concern the rear units and servicemen who are outside the war zone.

The new rules are adopted to "observe the principles of fairness of stimulating the soldiers of the Security and Defense forces of Ukraine. " From tomorrow, all payments will depend directly on the areas of stay of Ukrainian fighters, as well as the complexity and specificity of the combat or special tasks they perform. So the government decided to optimize the state budget expenditures, according to the press service.

In particular, the new rules apply to payments of 30 thousand and 100 thousand hryvnias, which were introduced by the Cabinet resolution of February 28 last year. Combat payments in the amount of UAH 100,000 a month are stored for Ukrainian fighters who are fighting with the enemy directly on the line of contact. The same applies to families of prisoners and missing Ukrainians - payments remain for them.

The new approach for accrual of additional payments will be concerned: as specified in the Cabinet of Ministers, today all servicemen, taking into account termmen and cadets, receive an additional cash remuneration of 30 thousand hryvnias. "At the same time, fighters, who, risking their lives, perform tasks in the areas of combat, but do not directly participate in the battles with the enemy, receive absolutely the same additional payments - 30 thousand hryvnias," the press service explains.

At the same time, February 1 will also increase the salary of servicemen so that its minimum level for the Armed Forces, the National Guard and the State Border Service of Ukraine amounted to at least 20 100 UAH. The main financial support for SES and Ukrainian police officers will be at least UAH 17,000.
