On July 7, the City Hall in Lviv announced a mourning day in memory of the victims of the rocket attack of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. The weather in the city corresponds to the mood of the inhabitants - in the morning it does not stop the rain, although the forecasters promised the sun and light cloudiness. However, despite the weather conditions, the parsing did not stop either at night or in the morning.
Rescue and search crews worked for more than a day in two shifts, according to the SES of Lviv. At 8:27 the military administration announced the completion of the work. After that, residents who want to climb the apartments begin to come to the destroyed house to pick up the surviving property. Without umbrellas, in home clothes near the ruins of their own housing are about a dozen people.
They all expect permission from the military and police to cross the red and white ribbon and climb their apartments, in which they raged their lives by July 6. "I have a cat there, sitting there waiting there," - says a resident of a house on Stryi Street. She is dressed in a jacket and home pants. After the rocket strike, the woman was sheltered by friends. She assures that her home has almost completely survived, but it is necessary to see it in person.
Near her stands a neighbor - an elderly woman of retirement age. Her eyes do not dry out of tears - she does not know if she can find something from the old life among the ruins. In the courtyard, several dozen volunteers in the summary tents are on duty: international organizations make lists for financial assistance, local activists emerge with hot tea. A psychologist also provides its services. People warm up and wait for permission to get home.
However, the military is in no hurry to let them behind the red and white ribbon. Utility machines regularly export garbage. One is replaced by the other. But the residents continue to stand in the rain and wait for the moment to cross the threshold of the house. "We need to wait, to achieve, I have a lot of surviving," the victim says. Next to her is a man - his mother lived in this house. Now the woman comes to her senses after the night of July 6.
The man holds a wooden box in his hands - everything that survives. All his mother's documents and things were destroyed. There are dozens of coffee shops, pharmacies and apartments and two dormitories around the house in Stryi. One of the neighboring buildings formed a huge crack through the entire wall.
According to the latest official information, various destruction after the rocket attack was received: Ova President Maxim Kozytsky posted a list of victims of shelling - the youngest dead was 32 years old: we recall that the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation cynically reported on a successful blow to the alleged place of dislocation of the Armed Forces and "foreign mercenaries" on the night July.
