Fourth Leader per day: Putin complained to Erdogan for an attempt at military rebellion

Kremlin head Vladimir Putin told Turkish President Recep Tayip Erdogan about an attempt at a coup in Russia. On Saturday, June 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with his Turkish colleague Recep Taiip Erdogan. The Kremlin press service reports. It is noted that the Turkish side was the initiator of the conversation. The publication also states that Putin told Erdogan about the situation in the Russian Federation against the backdrop of armed rebellion.

"The President of the Turkish Republic has expressed full support for the steps of the Russian leadership," the press service writes. From the Kremlin's website, it follows that Erdogan is the fourth leader of the state, whom the Russian dictator spoke today. Earlier, he called Alexander Lukashenko, as well as the President of Kazakhstan Kasim-Zhomart Tokayev and the leader of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirzioev.
