Some considerations on the events in the Dobropilsk direction in the last few days in the entire zone of the 51st General, which operates not only in Dobropilsky, but also in the Pokrovsky direction, the entertainment managed to take only up to 3 square kilometers. Namely - move on the "top of the sagland" (several hundred meters) towards the free and so - the north (the strict).

From the point of view of further prospects for keeping the remnants in the Dobropilsk direction, for the enemy more or less significant in tactical terms is only the second promotion, since these attacks south of the protected (Nicanorovka) are forced to the Armed Forces, instead of continuing the counterattack by their units from Nikanorovka. The enemy (command of the 51st General) is well aware that the Armed Forces do not have a common advantage in quantitative terms over it.

And so they can successfully counter -attack in certain selected areas and areas only by concentrating their forces and means there. In this regard, the Russian command is also quite capable of identifying these areas and areas of concentration of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in advance.

In this context, it is necessary to be completely "removed" in order not to understand that the Armed Forces will try to "cut off" the escort of the enemy in its narrowest place, on the "throat" of the draft. Well, in fact, realizing this, the enemy and acts - trying to attack on the flanks of these tactical shock groups of the Armed Forces, forcing them to repel these attacks instead of cutting off the "neck" . . . In a specific example it looks like this.

The Armed Forces was attacked in the direction of Ivanivka - Nikanorivka (releasing the latter), but immediately the attacks of the enemy to the south and north of Nicanorovka begin immediately. Therefore, instead of moving further on the lighthouse or Novotoretsky by Nicanorovka, Ukrainian units are forced to reflect these enemy attacks on their flanks, which occur from the hectic beam and the comfort (strict), and not with much advantage over the enemy.

It is clear that in such conditions the promotion of counter -attack units of the Armed Forces in their chosen area (direction) is dramatically complicated. Because you need to be a full suicide to rush forward without inspection, with your own "sagging" flanks.

However, all this looks quite impressive in one interesting moment-as long as the command of the 51st ID has a sufficient amount of capable infantry to drag it along the front of its strip, trying to simultaneously solve a whole set of tasks (sometimes not very interconnected in operational and tactical terms). It should be understood that the speed of its spending is now, to put it mildly, it does not quite fit into the overall schedule of the hypothetical "Pokrovsky offensive operation".

Especially if you spend this infantry on some actions that have little in common with it. For example, I did not think-what kind of units of the right flank of the 51st name at all rushed to break east of Dobropillya? This, to put it mildly, everything was very "indirectly" related to the situation in the Pokrovsky direction (apparently, priority for everything in the "Center").

Figuratively speaking, it was some "jump not in the other way", Pokrovsk and the surrounding areas are clearly "not in the other side". Actually, the 51st General has spent many resources, strength and means of this idea with a "breakthrough on the Dobropillya-Kramatorsk route" and with subsequent fights for "maintaining this breakthrough".

At the same time, neither the Rodinsky nor the red estuary (which are in its main direction of the offensive) are still captured (there are very stubborn and bloody battles), the attack on Mirnograd itself (because of the new economic and peaceful) also "sharply lost the pace" (which is not surprising, because the 1st Personal Para).

If in the near future (according to the "classic" of this war-within 2-3 weeks) the enemy will be forced to postpone all his schedules and plans for "storm Pokrovsk", as well as regroup in lanes of the 2nd and 51st hewing, pulling extra forces and means (which still need to be found somewhere). The name.

I do not know for what reason it sent a number of subordinate assault units for a breakthrough, figuratively speaking, "somewhere sideways" from the main direction of their offensive (perhaps they wanted to hang themselves additionally by some orders and medals, maybe for some other reason), and then a pile of forces and The best way for the enemy was influenced by the course and content of its entire offensive in the Pokrovsky direction.
