The daughter of Russia's main rabbi will become the wife of the son of Odessa Rabbi and South of Ukraine

According to journalists, the wedding ceremony will take place "in one of the best halls of the country", but where it is not specified. The choice of the venue is due to the desire to celebrate the birth of a new family with Jewish traditions. For the first time, it became known about preparation for the wedding in December last year, when it was told at the Moscow Jewish Public Center (MEOC).

Berl Lazar (full name of Shlomo Dov-Ber Pinkhos Lazar), the bride's father, is a representative of Lubavian Hasidism. He was born in Milan, is a citizen of the United States and the Russian Federation. He is married to Hannah Deren, the daughter of Ezekiel Deren, a rabbi from Pittsburgh. In addition to the snack, he has 12 more children: five sons and seven daughters.

He was elected the main slave of the Federation of Jewish Communities of Russia (Feor) in 1999, and a year later he became the main rabbi of Russia after voting at the congress of Russian Jewish communities. His three sons-Vehezkel, Menachem-Mendl and Helmet-are the main rabs of Simferopol, Krasnodar and Sochi, respectively.

When a full -scale invasion of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation into Ukraine began, Lazar refrained from public condemnation or support of the parties, stating only that peace needs to be restored between countries. Abraham Wolf, the chief rabbi of Odessa and south of Ukraine since 1998, was born in Israel, in Kiriat-Malachi. He studied in Jerusalem, Migdal Haemak and New York, served in the Israeli Defense Army.

From 1992 to 1998, Wolf led Kherson's Jewish community, and is now the chairman of the Odessa Religious Community "Shabos" and the director of the largest Jewish newspaper of the same name. He is also the founder of the Habad-Odesa educational complex, which contains kindergartens, elementary, high school and high school, boarding school. On his initiative, the South Ukrainian Jewish University was established, which is also part of the Board of Trustees. He raises eight children.
