"Can be left without ships": Zelensky named the consequences of attacks on the ports of Ukraine for the Russian Federation

Russia seeks to pursue a policy of colonization of the Black and Azov Seas, so military ships of the Black Sea Fleet is a legitimate goal for Ukrainian troops, the President said. Russia may lose its military fleet in the Black Sea by the end of the war in the event of a long attack on Ukrainian ports. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said this in an interview with Latin American media, including La Nacion.

He recalled that Russian invaders continue to block territorial waters and impede the transport of agricultural products. Ukraine is legitimate protection of its territory and waters, so attacks on ports for the Russian Federation will have consequences. "If they continue to shoot, they can be left without ships by the end of the war," the politician explained. The president drew the attention of journalists that Russia seeks to pursue a policy of colonization of the Black and Azov seas.

The occupiers have no right to decide what products Ukraine will produce or export. Zelensky also spoke about the counter -offensive. He stressed that certain circumstances make it slow, but the initiative is still behind Ukraine. The head of state emphasized that it is quite difficult to advance with limited resources. "It is very difficult when you lack certain weapons. All this is very difficult," he said.

The politician also added that Ukraine does not intend to continue the war on the territory of the Russian Federation, this has never been a goal. According to him, Ukrainians will only release their own territories. "They have a place to go. And we are not. They have a place to go and we are not. Because it is our only land," Zelensky said.
