Occupants no longer hide: drones with si Saker Scout approved for the use of the Armed Forces

The drone overcomes the distance of 10 kilometers and recognizes the type of objects for attack due to machine vision, which is almost impossible to hide. The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has admitted the Sker Scout unmanned complex to operate the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was reported on September 4 by the department on its channel on Telegram, noting that the procedure for admission for this purpose was carried out as quickly as possible thanks to the accelerator.

Not too much is known about the drone, but the military indicates its main "chip" - the use of artificial intelligence in the software software. The Ministry of Defense notes that the use of AI helps to carry out more efficiently by accurate recognition and categorization of objects. Moreover, artificial intelligence can detect and recognize even the disguised forces of the enemy.

The drone system, when identifying Russian invaders, immediately transmits all data to the Armed Forces command point, where they already make a decision on further actions. According to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, it helps to avoid unnecessary risks and human mistakes, since the operator is not always able to accurately recognize the threat. The AI system is fully integrated into the Delta situational awareness program, the military says.

The Sker Scout complex includes a large flagship drone and several smaller drones that are driven by first-person operators (FPVs). It is very important that special optics installed on drones enables our scouts to detect hostile equipment and units even at night. The special inertial guidance system helps drones more resistant to radio electronic struggle (HRS systems). UAVs can overcome a distance of 10 kilometers.

In July, they wrote that Ukrainians developed Saker for UAVs based on artificial intelligence. Several units tested it on the battlefield and noted that drones became much more accurate and effective. In particular, the system helps to find enemy objects invisible from the air of the human eye. Earlier, Focus said that Ukraine's MIC is going to dramatically increase the production of drones.
