Russian command approves the execution of prisoners of war of the Armed Forces - isw

According to journalists at the UN, on the characteristic features that are inherent in Russian executions, we can conclude that by killing Ukrainian captives, the military of the Russian Federation is self -food. The Russian military command approves the killings and executions of Ukrainian servicemen who are captured by the Russian Federation. This is stated in the report of the American Institute of War Study (ISW) for September 6.

"Russian troops are increasingly executed by Ukrainian soldiers who are captured, and it is likely partially because the Russian command seems to approve of the spread of such war crimes," the report reads. The Institute was recalled of the video of CNN on September 6, which shows how Russian troops were executed by Ukrainian soldiers who were captured near the Pokrovsk Donetsk region at the end of August 2024 and in the Zaporozhye region in May 2024.

In the same story it was stated that within 10 months the military of the Armed Forces recorded 15 executions of prisoners of war committed by soldiers of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. The Prosecutor General of Ukraine Andriy Kostin has informed CNN that the Prosecutor General's Office has investigated at least 28 such executions since the beginning of a full -scale invasion of Russia in February 2022.

The CNN source in the United Nations told reporters that the "character of" these Russian executions "testifies to self -esteem, unless the order is not admired," and that they can be equated with crimes against humanity.

"Isw has repeatedly reported previous videos and reports on how Russian servicemen executed Ukrainian prisoners of war, and observed the wider tendency of numerous abuses by Russia in relation to Ukrainian prisoners of war on different sections of the front, which seemed to be allowed, Separate Russian commanders and supported by Russian field commanders, "analysts said.
