Pessimism will not help: Ukraine can win war, there is reason - Admiral NATO

According to the chairman of the Military Committee of the North Atlantic Alliance Rob Bauer, allies of Ukraine do not need to make the same mistakes as 2023, when expectations from Kiev were too optimistic. There is every reason to confidently believe that Ukraine is able to win the war. On March 21, the head of the NATO Military Committee Admiral Rob Bauer declared this at the Kiev Security Forum.

The Alliance officer stressed that the situation in Ukraine is far from simple, and in 2023 the world was too optimistic about its prospects. "We should not make the same mistake, becoming excessively pessimistic in 2024. The pessimists do not achieve victory in the wars. And if we look at the facts: there is every reason to believe in Ukraine's ability to succeed," Bauer stressed. Admiral noted that Ukraine's main need today is the help of allies.

"NATO allies and many other countries in the world provide unprecedented support to Ukraine, and this really has changed circumstances. But Ukraine needs even more support. And it is needed now," he added. Bauer emphasized that time in Ukraine is measured not for days, weeks or months, but human lives. We will remind, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba met with the head of the NATO Military Committee Admiral works Bauer.
