The killing of the three SU-34 ripped off the offensive of the Russian Federation on the Left Bank of Kherson region-British intelligence

Experts stressed that in recent days the Russian Federation has reinforced the tactical air strikes around the bridgehead, but at a lower level than before the destruction of fighters. The beat of three Russian combat fighters of the Su-34 in the south of Ukraine influenced the operations of the Russian Federation troops on the left bank of the Dnieper in Kherson region. This is stated in the UK Ministry of Defense Intelligence report from January 6.

According to experts, earlier Russian tactical aviation played a key role in the south of Ukraine. In particular, during attacks on the Ukrainian bridgehead on the eastern bank of the Dnieper. The report states that on December 22, 2023, the Ukrainian forces knocked out three Russian Su-34 battle aircraft over the south of Ukraine. After these losses, the airspace forces of the invaders almost completely stopped the manned operations in the south by the end of December 2023.

"There is a real likelihood that the lack of air support has led to the failure of the 18th All-Military Army of Russia's Land Forces to release the bridgehead," the message reads. At the same time, British scouts stressed that in recent days the Russian Federation has reinforced the tactical air strikes around the bridgehead, but at a lower level than before the aircraft washed.

"This once again demonstrates that Russia's inability to establish an advantage in the early stages of the Russian-Ukrainian war continues to undermine their daily operations," the ministry assures. On December 22, the Air Force reported that three Russian Su-34 fighters were shot down. This was reported by the Commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Lieutenant General Mykola Oleshchuk. Russian bloggers have confirmed numerous combat losses.

It was also reported that on December 6, the Russians complained about the destroyed Su-24 in the Black Sea. Representatives of the Russian Federation suggested that the bomber who worked under the cover of the fighter was shot down by MIM-104 Patriot from the Odessa region. According to Focus, Ukrainian aircraft expert Valery Romanenko suggests that the Patriot air defense system was used in the operation to eliminate these aircraft.

According to him, Russian aircraft were sometimes dumped up to hundreds of managed aviation bombs. And on December 22, the Air Force representative Yuri Ignat called the operation "brilliantly planned". He emphasized that Su-34 aircraft have not been featured in the statistics of the losses of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. It should be noted that not all pilots managed to survive as a result of the destruction of three Russian Su-34.
