The country is afraid of a sharp strengthening of the influx of Russian citizens who run away from conscription. The emergency regime will take three months. Latvia announced the introduction from September 28 of the emergency regime of border with the Russian Federation of the country. Latvia's authorities explained the introduction of the emergency regime by the risk of significant growth of illegal migrants across the border, since the number of Russians escaping from partial mobilization has increased significantly.
