The dead Lieutenant Alina Mykolayets was on the hospital. In the last moments of her life, she sat with a young man in a car. On April 17, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation hit Chernihiv. The press service of the National Police of Ukraine reported that there is a policeman among the dead. As a result of Russian shelling, a 25-year-old police lieutenant Alina Mykolayets was killed by a deadly shrapnel wound.

She served since June 2023 and held the position of inspector of the Patrol Police Response Department. On April 17, the woman was home at the hospital. "The staff of the National Police of Ukraine bows heads in mourning and expresses sincere condolences to the relatives and relatives of Alina, and to all who have lost their relatives and relatives today," the press service added.

The head of the National Police in Vinnytsia region Ivan Ishchenko in a comment "UNIAN" told more about the death of Nikolaets. According to him, the lieutenant was injured in the head. "She took the hospital from yesterday, was in the car with a young man directly opposite the injured object. So the fate happened that a fragment was hit by the roof of the car," Ishchenko said.

The most relevant at the time of publication, as a result of the attack on Chernihiv, 17 people were killed, two of them died in hospital. There are also 60 victims, three of them are children. Search and rescue work in the city is ongoing. We will remind, the police showed the frames of the first minutes after attack on Chernihiv.
