Compulsory Military Accounting: Venislavsky explained whether the summons would be handed over to women

Ukraine will expand the list of persons who may call the Armed Forces. However, the Council does not plan to increase the list of specialties for women who will be subject to a mandatory resolution. Since October 1, women who have a medical or pharmaceutical specialty must be on military registration. To do this, they must appear to the CCC and the JV and go through the necessary procedures.

This was reported by the People's Deputy, a member of the Parliamentary Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence Fedor Venislavsky, it was discussed on the website of the Verkhovna Rada. He noted that conscripted women can mobilize to the Armed Forces.

"All conscripts are - regardless of whether a woman or a man - they receive summons and can be mobilized only when it requires a mobilization plan and the necessary people to form new units or replenish losses," Fedor Venislavsky said. According to him, it is incorrect to say that many women are mobilizing, because men can be men. Planned mobilization will continue in Ukraine, but will expand the list of persons who can call for service.

In addition, the Verkhovna Rada does not plan to expand the list of specialties for women to be subject to a mandatory resolution for military registration. Fyodor Venistavsky added that women whose professions are related to certain military-accounting specialties can voluntarily put on military registration. "For example, a chemical woman can be registered because this specialty is related to a chemical protection military," he explained.

Recall that from September 1, women who have a medical or pharmaceutical specialty should be stored in military accounting. The lawyer Marina Bekalo said that such women can be called to the service or involved in the execution of work to ensure the defense of the state during the war. Lawyer Yevgeny Zuraji told Focus that women who have gained medical specialty and work will have a deferral by the end of 2026.
