On Thursday, September 8, it became known that more than 20 settlements were released in the Kharkiv direction of the Armed Forces, - the information was confirmed by the deputy chief of the Main Operational Office of the General Staff Alexei Gromov during a briefing. According to Gromov, the forces of Ukraine pushed the defense of Russia for 50 km. In particular, it was about the liberation of the village of Ivanivka, Kharkiv region.
We will remind, the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine during a counter -offensive in the Kharkiv direction advanced deep into the defense of the enemy. According to analysts, the Armed Forces used the moment when the command of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation decided to redistribute the main forces and sent its units to the Kherson direction, waiting for a counter -offensive in the south of Ukraine.
