Victims of War: Nobel Prize Laureate in Physics will give it to help Ukrainians

According to Laureate Ferenc Kraus, the money will be transferred to the organization "Science for People", which was created 1. 5 years ago to help people affected by a full -scale invasion of Russia into Ukraine. One of the winners of the Nobel Prize in Physics, a scientist from Hungary, Ferenc Kraus, has announced his intention to transfer the amount attached to this award as assistance to the Ukrainian people. This is reported by Portfolio.

Kraus will divide the Nobel Prize together with two other scientists: Pierre Augustini and Anna Leue. The total amount of cash is 11 million Swedish crowns, which is equivalent to $ 330,000. Kraus will receive a third part of this amount. In a small interview that the scientist gave after the announcement of the award, he confessed that it was a surprise for him. He also thanked his two colleagues who shared this prestigious award with him.

Kraus also stated that he would transfer the money to the organization "Science for People", which was created 1. 5 years ago to help people who were injured from a full -scale invasion of Russia into Ukraine. We remind that the Nobel Prize in Physics in 2022 also won three scientists from France, the United States and Austria for making important discoveries in quantum mechanics.
