A Russian drone struck the railway station in Sumy: two workers were injured

As a result of the attack, two railway workers were injured, one of them was taken to a medical facility. Serhiy Kryvosheyenko, the head of the Sumy city military administration, said that the attack happened at around three o'clock in the morning. A 35-year-old man was hospitalized with injuries, another 28-year-old employee was treated directly at the scene.

Experts are currently investigating the extent of the damage after the attack. "Ukrzaliznytsia" has not commented on the situation so far. There is still no information about possible destruction of the railway track or delays in train movement. The day before, on October 22 at around 10:00 p. m. , Russian drones twice attacked an industrial facility within the Vorozhbyan community. As reported by the local authorities, there were no casualties and no significant damage.

In addition, the same evening around 19:00, the occupying forces fired at Ukrposhta vehicles in the border area of ​​Sumy Oblast for the second time in two days. Ihor Smilyanskyi, the director of the company, informed about this incident. On the evening of October 22, explosions rang out in Kyiv - the Russians attacked the city with drones. As a result of the strikes, buildings were damaged in several districts of the capital, and there were injured.

According to the head of the KMVA Timur Tkachenko, the wreckage of the drones fell in the Podilsk district, in particular on the territory of a kindergarten, and also damaged several cars. A residential building was damaged in the Desnyan district, but the fire was avoided. As of the north, at least four injured people from Kyiv are known. The consequences of the attack are being clarified.
