To see and be afraid: the Russians changed the tactics of intimidation in Melitopol - the mayor (video)

According to the mayor of Melitopol Ivan Fedorov, the number of abductions of people in the city has increased recently. Up to 10 Ukrainians per day are captured. Russian war criminals in the temporarily occupied Melitopol in Zaporozhye decided to change the tactics of terrorizing civilians. Instead of former searches in the early morning morning, they now come at night, wake up all residents and publicly bring a person with a bag on their heads, in order to intimidate the rest of the locals.

The Ukrainian Mayor of Melitopol Ivan Fedorov told about it on the national telephone. Recently, there has been an increase in the number of Ukrainians who are captured by the invaders, an average of 10 people per day. "The enemy comes at night. Everyone will wake up in a multi -storey building so that everyone can see what is happening and afraid. Then they bring up a man with a bag on his head, put in a car and take it," Fedorov said.

In addition, he said, it happens that residents of the city go to work in the morning or visit friends in a neighboring village, but are no longer returning. At checkpoints, occupiers can easily arrest people and send them to the commandant. We will remind that in the temporarily occupied territory of Zaporizhzhya region 44 military-accounting tables began work. As part of the event, 1,500 people have put on a set of servicemen.
