Hamas Attack: The number of Ukrainians killed in Israel has increased to 23 people - Ambassador

Mikhail Brodsky, the Ambassador of Israel to Ukraine, reported the number of fallen Ukrainians to Ukraine, publishing a brief post on the social network X (earlier - Twitter). The Bronsky's post states that 23 Ukrainians were killed in Israel. He stressed that Ukraine is in second place after the United States. On October 13, the Embassy of Ukraine in Israel reported 12 Ukrainians - victims of Hamas terrorists attack on October 7. Later, the victims were specified.

In particular, on October 15, 20 citizens of Ukraine who were hit by terrorists were known: 13 people were killed, 7 - disappeared. The infographic from the Government of Israel indicated that the injured US citizens - 39, 19 of them killed, 20 disappeared. They emphasize that the data will change as the bodies are identified. It should be noted that Ukrainian diplomats spoke about the evacuation of Ukrainian citizens from Israel, as well as from the Gaza Sector.

The Ambassador of Ukraine to Israel Yevhen Korniychuk told how the flights depart every day, which will export from 150 to 200 people at a time. Evacuation expects 1800 people who have registered in special form and are ready to pay 399 euros for a ticket. Meanwhile, about 270 Ukrainians at the border with Egypt are waiting for permission to leave the Gaza Sector.

On October 17, the Ambassador reported that the issue was agreed with all parties, but the Israeli government has yet recalled its permission because it could not grant security guarantees.
