In the Khmelnytsky Diocese of the UOC -MP Ananyeva, they were accused of "attack on the clergyman", and also stated that he "broke the worship, poured and damaged the sacred gospel in the presence of more than 100 parishioners. " Eyewitnesses told local journalists that it was Ananiev who, in their opinion, initiated the conflict.

The police reported that on this fact, investigators of the Khmelnytskyi district management opened proceedings under Article 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - hooliganism. As a result, the Khmelnytsky City Council ceased the right to use land in the territory of St. Pokrovsky Cathedral, which belonged to the UOC (MP). After the incident, the cathedral went to the PCC. The decision was made unanimously 38 by the deputies.
