The United Kingdom since 2022 has written over 600 weapons units

The British army is faced with the fact that some weapons are already old and replaced with nothing. This situation has led to late funding. Since the beginning of 2022, the United Kingdom has written off and sold 1,711 units of military equipment. About it reports UK Defense Journal. The Ministry of Defense of the United Kingdom from February 24, 2022 removed from the army 1711 units of equipment: the Office published a list of equipment that no longer serves the army.

Some of it has data where the equipment was sent. For example, 127 scimitar and 80 MRAP HUSKY classes were sold to Gana. About 400 units of logistics vehicles and machines for transportation of fighters were also auctioned. Due to the untimely replacement, the British army faced the fact that the equipment is growing rapidly. For example, BMP Warriow, which in the army of 580 units, will start writing off next year.
