It turned out that "Upaorgsynthesis" is a technological part of "Bashneft-Novoil"-an oil refinery with a projected capacity of more than 7 million tons of oil per year. Both enterprises belong to "Bashneft". According to the newspaper, a blow to the enterprise is quite logical, because it is not about another refinery.

"Upaorgsynthesis" is also one of the key enterprises that produce about a third of phenol and acetone in the Russian Federation, as well as 15% of all high -skin polyethylene. The gross share of products of the enterprise goes to manufacturers of explosives. One of the main customers of products is the "Cheboksar -heated combination of names VI Chapaev", "Baysky Oleum plant" and "Plant of Sverdlov".

The Cheboksar plant owns Rostekh, it specializes in the production of explosives, rubber and plastic products and is directly owned by "Rostekh". The plant in Boyysk is a federal enterprise for the production of explosives and a branch "Plant Nim. Sverdlov", which is the largest in the Russian Federation manufacturer of explosives. The cost of "Upaorgsynthesis" contracts with these three enterprises is over $ 1 billion.

And in 2016, Rostech wanted to include "Upaorgsynthesis" in his warehouse, but he was absorbed by "Bashneft". Journalists said that before the explosion at the refinery at Ufa, the local residents heard the noise of drones. "Many people talk about the shocks that have felt even in the apartments. Now a fire has begun at the enterprise in the area of ​​the Birsky tract," Rosmi noted.
