"Flies to any part of Crimea": For the Armed Forces created a long-range shock drone "Kanyuk" (video)

The basis for the Ukrainian UAV was partly the Russian "Orlan", which was captured in 2022. In Ukraine, the Kaniuk is created for the military, which can develop speeds of up to 300 kilometers per hour and attack targets at a long distance. One of the authors was told by the idea of creating a drone - the head of "Act of Crimea" Ruslan Zagnov - in an interview with "Public" journalists.

He specified that the drone was created specifically at the request of the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The drone is named in honor of Kanyuk or Sarich - a predatory bird, whose name is also called Cape in Crimea. Working on the drone project, engineers studied photos and videos with the Russian UAV "Orlan", which in 2022 managed to knock down the Ukrainian military. In some sense, this enemy drone became the basis for the creation of a Ukrainian long -range and high -speed drone.

"King" can carry a large mass of charge, starts from the catapult and can reach speeds of up to 300 km/h. The drone is controlled by the operator using a camera and control devices. Its advantages are speed and range, as well as the ability to carry a big charge. Kanyuk has a 70 km flight range and a cost of about $ 5,000. Armed with a RPG projectile, which runs to the target under the control of the operator. "The main goal, as we set out from the beginning, is to help the military in the south.

He also noted that he had passed the fight and was already transferred to the front. It is a party of a dozen Kaniuk UAV, which have already been used by the fighters of the 36th Marine Corps Brigade, who perform combat missions in the Kherson direction. We will remind, earlier we wrote that the Armed Forces will receive drones-Kamikadze with "night vision", with which they will be able to "answer" the Russians.
