Gazprom continues to lose customers in Europe: who else has refused the services of Russians

Moldova's Energy Minister Viktor Parlikov warned that his country would not buy gas from the Russian company for the territories that controls Chisinau. Moldova finally refuses to purchase Russian gas. It turned out that buying "blue fuel" in the European market for the country is much cheaper than paying Gazprom. On October 2, Ajansı reports on October 2.

Thus, according to the Minister of Energy of Moldova Viktor Parlikov, the government of the country will no longer finance the purchase of Russian gas. "We will no longer buy natural gas from Gazprom for the territory controlled by the constitutional authorities," he said. Parlikov explained that Moldova was already receiving gas from alternative sources by purchasing it in the European market.

"Moreover, we were able to do it at a lower price than the formula we prescribed in a contract with Gazprom," Viktor Parlikov added. Recall that earlier in Russian "Gazprom" demanded that "Moldovagaz" extinguished the debt for the supplied gas in the amount of $ 433 million, and taking into account late payments - $ 709 million. However, the Moldova authorities conducted an independent audit and found out that a large amount of debt was invented.

Therefore, the country's management suggested to pay "Gazprom" to pay $ 8. 6 million and finally close debt issue. In addition, the audit acknowledged that Moldovagaz has the right to put forward financial requirements for Gazprom as a maternal company for paying gas transit and performing gas supply obligations to the Moldovan Moldova and will prove their correctness by all available methods.
