Training in war. Today schools open doors (and bomb shelves) for students: how they will work in Ukraine and in Kiev

Video of the day, Minister of Education and Science Sergey Shkarlet at the end of August explained that the format of each student's training will depend on where he lives or is as of September 1: for the first two categories of students (which are in safe territories without changing their place of residence or there is Internally displaced persons) are offered the following forms of education: for students who are abroad, remote, externship or home training is possible.

In the frontier territories and temporarily occupied training is possible in the following forms: the final decision on the format of the organization of educational process in each school or region is made by regional military administrations and the founders of educational institutions, depending on the security situation.

In Kiev, parents will be able to choose the form of teaching children and change it during the school year, explained the director of the Department of Education and Science of KSCA Olga Fidanyan. According to her, almost 70% of parents in Kiev have been chosen for their children in full -time training since September 1. At the same time, about 20% of Kiev students will be abroad as of September 1.

Fidanyan said that almost 70% of Kiev schools have shelters that are updated and repaired according to the requirements and in which children will be able to hide during air alarm. “But even in these schools, only as many people will be able to stay at the same time as shelters. That is, schools where shelters cannot accommodate all students with teachers will go to two -shift learning.

The same educational institutions where there is neither their shelter, which meets all the requirements, nor a safe place alongside the school, where it is possible to translate children in the event of air anxiety promptly, they will not be able to start training in full -time form at all, ”she added. According to the KSCA, there are now nearly 180,000 students in Kyiv, and 138 thousand of them will start offline - so many families have written statements about children's education.
