The representative of the Ministry of Defense confirms that the F/A-18 Marine infantry crashed during a training flight. The f/A-18 fighter, developed in the 1970s, is an American deck aviation. This type of aircraft is in service in several countries in Europe, Oceania and the Middle East.
In the United States, this aircraft continues to operate as part of the Marine Corps, and also performs functions in educational and experimental squadrons. In different periods of time, different countries considered the possibility of acquiring f/A-18 fighters, including Austria, Hungary, Poland, Singapour, Philippines, Czech Republic and Chile. Thailand also ordered several F/A-18 aircraft, but because of the Asian financial crisis in 1997, this order was canceled.
