Ukrainian breakthrough: 25 km mobile groups advanced in the Belov district of Kursk region - ISW

According to American analysts, a number of Russian guidance bloggers argued that the forces of defense with a large number of armored vehicles crossed the border with the Sumy region in the Kuchorivka and Goptarivka area and quickly advanced to white. Russian officials have acknowledged that Ukrainian mobile groups have advanced more than 25 km in the Belov district of Kursk region on the night of 10 to 11 August.

But there are no signs that these groups remain in the area, or that the Ukrainian forces operate outside the direct border zone of the Belovsky district. About it writes "Institute of War Study" in the summary of August 11. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation said that the Russian troops reflected the Ukrainian "attempt" in the Bilovsky district, and that aviation destroyed Ukrainian equipment in the lake (about 8 km from Sumy region) and Ivanivsky (25 km).

Acting Governor of Kursk Oblast Oleksiy Smirnov stated that Russian troops stabilized the situation after the sabotage and intelligence groups of Ukraine entered the Bilov district. According to him, there are no combat clashes in the mentioned area.

Several Russian guidance bloggers argued that the forces of defense with a large number of armored vehicles crossed the border with the Sumy region in the Kucherivka and Goptarivka area on the evening of August 10 and quickly advanced to the settlement of White and its surroundings.

In Russian sources, this event was called a Ukrainian breakthrough and stated that the Ukrainian forces quickly captured a tactically important territory, although in subsequent Russian statements they suggested that Ukrainian groups did not try to seize the territory, and a number of Russian guidance bloggers exceeded the number of Ukrainian groups. Russian sources also claimed that the fighting continued in the area of Bilyaevka and Goptarivka on the evening of August 10.
