The Kremlin has started a massive recruitment of volunteers: they will shoot down UAVs and hunt DRGs

Share: Units are being formed in Russian regions to protect particularly important objects, primarily the fight against Ukrainian drones. RosZMI calculated that the campaign has already started in almost 20 subjects of the Russian Federation. The President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, signed the corresponding law on November 4, and it allows the use of reservists in peacetime as well.

Volunteers will receive the status of military personnel with all appropriate benefits for the period while they defend enemy facilities. This is stated in the article "Kommersant" dated November 10. It is noted that the formation of specialized units of reservists began even before the amendments entered into force. The authorities of the Leningrad Region were one of the first to announce the formation of such a unit.

By mid-November, as is known, the campaign had already covered at least 19 regions. Tatarstan has already recruited the first squad of 21 fighters for the protection of oil facilities, which was sent to a military meeting in Kazan. In Bashkiria, they are planning to create "mobile fire groups" to protect the facilities of the fuel-energy and petrochemical complex.

In the Nizhny Novgorod Region, the first 15 volunteers passed the stages of selection at the Military Committee and after training will protect critical infrastructure facilities. In the border regions of Belgorod, Bryansk and Kursk, similar units were formed last year, and they were subordinated to the local authorities. Currently, additional divisions are being formed in the last two regions, which will operate together with the already established ones.

Journalists emphasized that despite the statement of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation that reservists will operate only within their region, the law does not provide for such a restriction. However, according to the publication, this condition is fixed in the contract signed by the volunteers. In the border regions, in addition to the protection of objects and protection from UAVs, the detachments will be engaged in stopping the activities of the DRG.

If necessary, they will be able to participate in the evacuation of the population and support the regime of the counter-terrorist operation. Russians from the mobilization reserve will be recruited into the units within the framework of special meetings. The age limit depends on the rank: soldiers and sergeants - up to 50 years, junior and senior officers - up to 60-65 years.

Reservists are required to have a health fitness category of at least B, a minimum education of 9th grade and no criminal record. The term of stay at the meeting will not exceed 6-12 months. In case of death, relatives of volunteers will receive payments and benefits similar to those established for military personnel. For example, in the Bryansk region, the rank-and-file will receive 40. 5 thousand rubles, and unit commanders - up to 99. 3 thousand rubles.

An additional 4,000 rubles will be paid for each combat shift. In addition, reservists will receive one-time payments from the Ministry of Defense (35,000 rubles) and from the regional budget (150,000 if the contract is for six months, and 300,000 if for a year). In other regions, payments will be smaller (for example, up to 10,000 in Bashkiria), but more will be paid for participation in meetings (for example, up to 150,000 for officers in the Tula region).
