"The largest repair campaign": Ukraine's power system is ready for attacks of the Russian Federation - Galushchenko

According to the head of the Ministry of Energy, the Russians are aiming at firing crews of repairmen, which complicates restorative work and is terrorism. Ukrainian energy is prepared for the quickly eliminating the effects of enemy attacks on energy infrastructure. The Minister of Energy of Ukraine Herman Galushchenko said this on the air of the "only news".

According to the minister, the power system of Ukraine is completely ready for the winter season and is able to recover quickly in case of damage to its objects as a result of Russian shelling. "The repair campaign is completed in the energy, which was the largest period of the state's independence. Before the start of the heating season, the energy system will be completely ready for winter - both in terms of generation and in terms of electricity transmission," Galushchenko said.

The head of the Ministry of Energy has said that Russia is likely to continue to strike the objects of energy infrastructure, but it is difficult to evaluate the extent of attacks and their consequences. "We only understand that the blows will be. Today, for the first time in a long time, the energy object has been attacked. So far, everything works steadily, despite the damage," the minister said. Galushchenko added that the front regions are expected to be more intense shelling.

Chernihiv, Sumy and Kherson regions are fired daily. Recovery work does not stop for one day. Energy from other areas are sent to these regions to strengthen the repair crews. "We have mobilized the whole of Ukraine to restore particularly affected areas, and the brigades from all over Ukraine work in places where the difficult situation is due to shelling," said the head of the Ministry of Energy.

According to the minister, the Russians are aimed at firing crews of repairmen, which complicates restorative work. "There have been repeated cases where the brigades that came to renew the networks were fired. As soon as they raised the tower for high -altitude work, the shelling began," - said Herman Galushchenko. The minister added that among the energy, they were dead and wounded and called the actions of the Russians terrorism, which "is a common practice for Russia.
